Description
Also known as ‘Black Cement,’ the Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred’ has been released five times, and this doesn’t count the Golf rendition that was available in 2021. The first time we saw the classic release was in 1989. For the first time, a retro was available, which took place in 1999. Both of the pairs have Nike Air branding. 9 years later, in 2008, the brand decided to bring the shoes out once again, but this time part of the Countdown Pack series and included the Air Jordan 19. The two shoes equaled the number 23 and help celebrate the release of the Air Jordan XX3.
A first look at the sneaker reveals a slightly retro look as the “Bred Reimagined” colorway was initially released in 2019. The 2023 version now features Instead of using the typical nubuck, this iteration of the classic will have leather.
Reimagined is a series by Jordan Brand that takes an original colorway and offers them in a new way. It could mean different materials used, or it could take on a vintage/aged look. What we can expect is the use of a Black, Cement Grey, Summit White, and Fire Red color combination. Red adds a pop of color to the Jumpman logo and the color-blocked outsole, which is interrupted by a charcoal gray hue, joining matching Nike Gray Air branding on the heel. A white midsole features an Air bubble, nodding to the possible return of Nike Air.
