Description
Nike’s Remix collection has become one of the brand’s most extensive in recent years. The Nike Air Force 1 Low releases in another “Split” iteration that comes dressed in “Black/Light Silver-Phantom White”. The shoe taps into nearly its entire lifestyle archive, returning to popularity in a monochromatic style. Before opposing aesthetics took hold, Bruce Kilgore’s design opted for synonymous upper construction, contrasting jet black overlays with a tumbled leather “Coconut Milk” base.
The upper features a coconut cream leather construction as the base and black leather as the overlays. Phantom graphics accent the tumbled leather upper. While the tongue and heel tabs introduce a decade-spanning mashup of logos. Further broken accents define the black and “Mica Green” laces, while the sole hits a trio of tones of white, cream, and faded green. Prominent spillover themes focus on the tongue tag, heel, insole, and rubber outsole, while White Swooshes and matching midsole round out the silhouette.
