Description
This winter, Jordan Brand launches a special edition Air Jordan 5 Retro combined with a GORE-TEX protective cover to keep feet dry and warm. The Air Jordan 5 Retro Gore-Tex “Off-Noir” release brought weather resistance to the shoe worn by Michael Jordan during the 1989-1990 NBA season.
The upper uses a faded black suede finish and a waterproof technology design to keep out the cold in winter. Yellow mesh air windows are used on the sides of the upper. The special shoe holes are designed with waterproof hard material, which provides a solid guarantee for the windproof performance of the shoes. The black laces feature red design elements on the lace lock. The “23” on the heel sidewall shares the same tonal elements as the shark serrations on the midsole. It is worth mentioning that the shark serrations are decorated with black spots, which match the color of the upper very well. A crimson Jumpman graphic adorns the heel and silver reflective tongue, while Gore-Tex branding on the left shoe and “23” on the right shoe are featured on the outside of the heel. Red shark tooth detailing accents the black polyurethane midsole, while an Air unit is visible at the heel. A black midsole combined with a retro-yellow-finished translucent rubber outsole completes the shoe’s design. There is an air cushion device at the bottom of the heel to provide shock absorption and cushioning performance.
