PUMA MB.03 LaFrance is a very personal style of Ball’s sneakers, the upper uses large area of fluorescent green, claw mark treatment and “venom” shape outsole. The unique idea is amazing. In this issue, we take a look at the internal structure of MB.03 by deconstructing it. And what details are optimized comparing with MB.02?

Separating the vamp and midsole of right shoe
The thick vamp is covered with vetiver and iris lines, and innner side of the opening window is a hard mesh fabric to improve air permeability.

The ventilated mesh inner sleeve match with thick shoe tongue. The shoe tongue has Ball’s personal logo.
There are 6 sets of shoelace holes in total. The first 4 sets adopt narrow and wide sparse design to reduce the pressure on the instep, and the last 2 sets of outer shoelace holes add TPU material to improve the lateral support.
The first four sets of shoelace holes are semi-dynamic design to improve the fittness of the middle section.
The counter on the heel fit well with achilles’s tendon.
You can see the two black spots marked, that is, the coverage of the heel counter, and the heel is fixed well.
The surface of shoe-pad uses fabric material, and it’s printed with PUMA and Ball’s personal logo.
The reverse side of shoe-pad is glued to reduce the risk of slippage.

The width of EUR42 forefoot shoe-pad is about 92.22mm.
The thickness of EUR42 shoe-pad is about 5.67mm.
The surface material of insole is EVA.
The reverse side of insole is non-woven material, which is printed with product’s information.
It uses full-length NITRO FOAM technology. The forefoot sole and heelpiece uses PEBAX cushioning material.

Deconstructed Report:
Vamp: There are several windowing design on the thick fabric vamp. The inner layer is stiff mesh fabric to improve the air permeability. The unique arrangement of shoelace holes reduce the pressure on the instep and improve the fitness in the middle section.
Insole: It uses full-length NITRO FOAM technology. It’s not soft, but resilient. The forefoot sole and heelpiece sole is filled with PEBAX cushioning material. The shape of the force point was optimized in the forefoot sole. And the force area was increased in the heelpeice sole. The resilient feedback was significantly improved.
Overall: PUMA MB.03 continues the midsole structure and configuration of MB.02, and the resilient feedback is fast. Instead of engineering mesh fabric with big are of hot-melting materials, it uses thick fabric material upper, and strengthen the foam padding of the shoe collar, the overall fitness is good. It doesn’t need time to break-in, greatly improving the comfort level.
